Microsoft Teams not appearing in Outlook

If the Microsoft Teams add-in button is not visible in Outlook, use this guide to fix this integration issue:

If you don’t already have it installed

  • Install the Microsoft Teams app from Company Portal or
  • Download from this link (Download for desktop) and Install as an administrator (This installs the add-in on your computer that requires administrator permission)
    • Right-Click the downloaded executable
    • Click Run as administrator
  • Do not sign into Teams yet
  • Open Outlook App and ensure you’re connected
  • Sign into Teams
  • Sign out of Teams
  • Restart the Teams app and ensure you’re signed on
  • Close Outlook and then reopen, you should now see the Teams icon in Calendar
