Move or Copy OneDrive Files to SharePoint

OneDrive is for personal files. Any organizational files in OneDrive will be deleted if not moved or copied to a team or SharePoint. Examples of organizational files include: Class, department, shared ??

This guide is intended to be used by those outprocessing from USMA.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to OneDrive (office.com/onedrive)
  2. Select the file(s) to move / copy. In the command bar, click Move to or Copy to. These commands may be under the … menu option.
  3. From Quick access, select the appropriate site. If the desired site is not listed, view More places…. Select or create a folder. Click Move / Copy here.Note: Move to will keep the version history with the file. Copy to will NOT retain the version history.
