No sound in Microsoft Teams

The sound on your computer is working but when you are in a Teams meeting you have no audio.  This is most likely due to the device settings within the Teams application.

  1. While you are in your teams meeting click on the ellipsis (the three dots) at the top of the screen.

2. Click on Device Settings. If you have headphones connected or a monitor with built in speakers you will see them all listed in the drop down menu.

3. In the Speaker drop down menu select the device you would like to use for your meeting.  Do the same for your Microphone.


4. Once you have selected the devices you can close out to the menu by clicking on the X next to Device settings.
