USMA – iOS being kicked off of O365

For troubleshooting questions related to user’s of iPhone/Ipad that has been kicked off of O365 and received a note from the cyber team that your device is “non-compliant”:

What does that even mean?  Most often, it means that the users phone or Ipad either hasn’t been updated to the latest version of iOS or they don’t have location services always enabled. Sometimes running an iOS update will change the location services setting.

  • To check your iOS version, go to the Settings App and click General and About.  Your Software Version will be near the top of the page.  If the software is not up to date please have them select software update in general settings.
  • To check location services, go to the Settings App and scroll all the way down to Comp Portal.  Location should be set to “Always.”
